Simplified Chinese character

Simplified Chinese character (Simplified Chinese: or ; or ; or ) is one of two standard sets of Chinese characters of the contemporary Chinese written language. It is the result of simplifications made by the People's Republic of China in an attempt to promote literacy. It is used in mainland People's Republic of China, Singapore, and Malaysia.

Les sinogrammes simplifiés (sinogrammes : 简化字/簡化字 ou 简体字/簡體字 ; hanyu pinyin : jiǎnhuàzì ou jiǎntǐzì) constituent l'une des deux écritures servant à transcrire les langues chinoises. Ils sont utilisés en République populaire de Chine et à Singapour. Ils sont opposés aux sinogrammes traditionnels, utilisés à Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan et au Japon (voir kanjis pour l'utilisation des caractères chinois en japonais).

Kurzzeichen sind die vereinfachte Version der traditionellen Langzeichen der chinesischen Schrift. Im ISO 15924-Code tragen sie die Bezeichnung Hans, im ISO 639-Code entspricht das der Sprachklasse zh-CN.

Uproszczone pismo chińskie to odmiana pisma chińskiego. Uproszczenia dokonano w Chińskiej Republice Ludowej w latach 50. XX wieku. Celem reformy było ułatwienie nauki pisma i walka z analfabetyzmem. Modyfikując ok. 50 proc. najbardziej skomplikowanych z używanych dotąd znaków cel ten osiągnięto. Pismo uproszczone używane jest także w Singapurze.

Vereenvoudigd Chinees (vereenvoudigd Chinees: 简体中文; traditioneel Chinees: 簡體中文; pinyin: jiǎntǐzhōngwén; Standaardkantonees: Kaan T'aj Chong Man) is één van de twee standaarden die worden gebruikt voor de geschreven Chinese taal. De andere standaard wordt traditioneel Chinees genoemd.
