Ship Arriving Too Late to Save a Drowning Witch
Ship Arriving Too Late to Save a Drowning Witch is an album by Frank Zappa, released in May 1982 and digitally remastered in 1991. It features five tracks composed by Zappa, and one song, "Valley Girl", co-written with Moon Unit Zappa, his daughter, who provided the spoken monologue mocking some of the Valley girls at her school including "Gag me with a spoon!".

Ship Arriving Too Late To Save A Drowning Witch est un album de Frank Zappa sorti en 1982. Ship Arriving Too Late to Save a Drowning Witch (italiano: Una barca arrivata in ritardo per salvare una strega dall'annegamento), pubblicato nel 1982, è un album di Frank Zappa.
Questo album è divenuto famoso principalmente per la presenza del pezzo Valley Girl, con testi e voce di Moon Unit Zappa, figlia quattordicenne di Frank, dove vengono citati e stereotipati alcuni modi di dire giovanili tipici dell'inglese parlato nella San Fernando Valley in California. Tale pezzo è storicamente conosciuto per essere stato l'unico singolo di Frank Zappa ad entrare nella Top 40 statunitense.
