Shine On You Crazy Diamond
"Shine On You Crazy Diamond" is a nine-part Pink Floyd composition written by Roger Waters, Richard Wright, and David Gilmour. The song is a tribute to former band member Syd Barrett, although it was not originally explicitly written with him in mind. It was first performed on their 1974 French tour. It was recorded for the 1975 concept album Wish You Were Here. The song was intended to be a side-long composition like "Atom Heart Mother" and "Echoes", but was ultimately split into two parts and used to bookend the album.

Shine On You Crazy Diamond est une chanson en neuf parties de Pink Floyd, parue sur l'album Wish You Were Here en 1975 mais interprétée en concert depuis 1974. La chanson était supposée figurer sur la face A du disque vinyle (comme Atom Heart Mother et Echoes), mais elle était trop longue pour figurer sur une seule face de 33 tours. Elle a alors été divisée en deux parties, qui ouvrent et concluent l'album. La chanson complète est la plus longue que le groupe ait jamais enregistré.

Shine on You Crazy Diamond - dziewięcioczęściowy utwór brytyjskiej grupy rockowej Pink Floyd znajdujący się na płycie Wish You Were Here.
W zamierzeniu grupy było to kolejne wielkie dzieło muzyczne (obok Atom Heart Mother i Echoes). Z powodu długości (26:01) nie zmieściło się na jednej stronie płyty winylowej i zostało podzielone na dwie części: Shine on You Crazy Diamond (Parts I-V) i Shine on You Crazy Diamond (Parts VI-IX). Utwór jest hołdem złożonym przez członków zespołu pierwszemu liderowi Pink Floyd - Sydowi Barrettowi. Tekst piosenki opowiada o człowieku, który nie udźwignął brzemienia sławy. Skojarzenie z Barrettem - walczącym z uzależnieniem od LSD i schizofrenią jest bardzo czytelne. Shine on You Crazy Diamond pojawia się również (skrócone i połączone w całość) na składankach A Collection of Great Dance Songs, Echoes oraz na płytach koncertowych Delicate Sound of Thunder i P*U*L*S*E. Był również podstawą repertuaru koncertowego grupy.
