The Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) , abbreviated as 上证所/上證所 or 上交所, is a stock exchange that is based in the city of Shanghai, China. It is one of the two stock exchanges operating independently in the People's Republic of China, the other is the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. Shanghai Stock Exchange is the world's 5th largest stock market by market capitalization at US$2.3 trillion as of Dec 2011. Unlike the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, the Shanghai Stock Exchange is still not entirely open to foreign investors due to tight capital account controls exercised by the Chinese mainland authorities.

Die Börse Shanghai (englisch: Shanghai Stock Exchange) wurde am 26. November 1990 als Wertpapierbörse in Shanghai in der Sonderwirtschaftszone Pudong gegründet und ging am 19. Dezember 1990 in Betrieb. Heute ist sie die wichtigste Börse auf dem chinesischen Festland. An ihr sind 833 Unternehmungen und 877 Aktien notiert (Stand Februar 2006).

La Bourse de Shanghai, ou SSE, (en anglais: Shanghai Stock Exchange), établie en 1990, est la plus importante bourse de République populaire de Chine après celle de Hong Kong. Elle assure la cotation des actions de 842 sociétés, représentant en 2006 une capitalisation boursière de l'ordre de 915 milliards de dollars US.
