Shahada
The shahada ( ) (from the verb , “he witnessed”), means “to know and believe without suspicion, as if witnessed, testification”; it is the name of the Islamic creed. The shahada is the Muslim declaration of belief in the oneness of God (tawhid) and acceptance of Muhammad as God’s prophet. The declaration in its shortest form reads:

There is no god but God, Muhammad is the messenger of God. (in English)

Chahada
La chahada ou shahada ou shâhada (arabe : [šahādaʰ], témoignage) qui signifie « attestation » ou « témoignage de foi » en arabe, est le premier des piliers de l'islam. Elle est directement liée au principe de l'unicité de Dieu.

Shahada (med arabisk skrift شهادة), den muslimska trosbekännelsen, lyder: "Det finns ingen gud utom Allah och Muhammed är guds profet." På arabiska اشهد ان لا اله الا الله و ان محمد رسول الله (ʾašhadu ʾan lā ilāha illā-llāh, wa ʾašhadu ʾanna muḥammadan rasūlu-llāh), eller لا إله إلا الله محمد رسول الله (Lā 'ilāha 'illā llāha wa Muhammadun rasūlu llāhi).

Szahada
Szahada (arab. شهادة, šahādah) to muzułmańskie wyznanie wiary, będące jednym z pięciu obowiązków każdego muzułmanina. Składa się ono ze słów w języku arabskim:
لا إله إلاَّ الله و محمد رسول الله (lā ilāha ill'Allāh wa-Muammadun rasūlu Allāh)

nie ma boga prócz Allacha, a Mahomet jest Jego prorokiem

Trzykrotne jego publiczne wypowiedzenie (czyli danie "świadectwa" wiary) decyduje o przyjęciu islamu przez daną osobę. Po przyjęciu islamu należy dokonać rytualnej kąpieli (ghusl). Słowa wyznania wiary znajdują się w każdej modlitwie muzułmańskiej i stanowią podstawowy dogmat wiary.
