Sexually transmitted disease (STDs)

These diseases include herpes, syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, HIV/AIDS, and others. STDs make HIV easier to spread from one person to another. Currently, the term sexually transmitted infections (STIs) is also being used to refer to STDs.
