Sauron

Sauron (IPA: , Quenya: "Abhorred") is the title character and the primary antagonist of The Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien (where he is also revealed to have been "the Necromancer" from The Hobbit). In Tolkien's The Silmarillion (published after The Lord of the Rings), he is also revealed to have been the chief lieutenant of the first Dark Lord Morgoth.

Sauron (quen. os. obrzydliwa, odrażająca) to fikcyjna postać stworzona przez Tolkiena, opisana w książkach Władca Pierścieni i Silmarillion. W Silmarillionie jest sługą Morgotha, podczas gdy we Władcy Pierścieni występuje już jako główny antagonista. Zostaje wspomniany również w Hobbicie jako "Czarnoksiężnik", choć nie jest wymienione jego imię.

Sauron (creazione di Eru Ilúvatar – 3019 Terza Era) è un personaggio della Terra di Mezzo creato da J.R.R. Tolkien. Chiamato Zigûr, cioè "Stregone" in Linguaggio Nero, dai suoi Orchi (nome usato anche dai numenoreani di Ar-Pharazon), egli è l'Oscuro Signore di Mordor, un potente spirito del male de Il Signore degli Anelli, nel quale è l'antagonista principale. Appare anche ne Il Silmarillion.
