Republic of Saugeais
The Republic of Saugeais is a long-lived self-proclaimed micronation located in eastern France, in the département of Doubs. The republic comprises the 11 municipalities of Les Alliés, Arçon, Bugny, La Chaux-de-Gilley, Gilley, Hauterive-la-Fresse, La Longeville, Montflovin, Maisons-du-Bois-Lièvremont, Ville-du-Pont, and its capital Montbenoît.

Saugeais
Le Saugeais ou Sauget est une entité géographique composée de onze communes du Haut-Doubs en France réunies en une république folklorique baptisée République libre du Saugeais. Montbenoît est la capitale de cette « république » de 125 km².

Saugeais
Saugeais lub Sauget (czytaj: sożé) - obszar geograficzny we Francji, na pograniczu ze Szwajcarią, który składa się z sześciu gmin departamentu Doubs (Franche-Comté). Na tym obszarze zostało założone fikcyjne państwo nazwane: Wolną Republiką Saugeais (fr. République libre du Saugeais). Stolicą republiki jest Montbenoît. Liczba ludności to ok. 6 tysięcy ludzi. Na terenie Saugeais działają władze francuskie oraz nieuznawane przez nie, ani żadne inne państwo, „władze” Republiki Saugeais, nie dochodzi między nimi do konfliktów. Na granicach Republiki pracują celnicy i kontrola graniczna. Saugeais ma własny hymn, flagę, banknoty oraz znaczki.

Saugeais
De Republiek Saugeais (République du Saugeais) is een micronatie, gelegen in de Franche-Comté tussen Frankrijk en Zwitserland. De hoofdstad is Montbenoît. De micronatie wordt niet door Frankrijk of door enig ander land erkend.
In 1947, vlak na de Tweede Wereldoorlog werd het ministaatje geboren als een grap van Georges Pourchet, hôtelier te Montbenoît, en de heer Ottaviani, de prefect van de regio. Sindsdien heette het de Vrije Republiek van Saugeais.
In 1972 werd Gabrielle Pourchet (1906) verkozen tot president van de minirepubliek. Ze regeerde vanaf toen en probeert "tradities" in ere te houden.

La república comprende los 11 municipios de L'Alliés, Arçon, Bugny, La Chaux-de-Gilley, Gilley, Hauterois-Lièvremont, Ville-du-Pont, y su capital Montbenoît.
