It is bordered by Jordan on the northwest, Iraq on the north and northeast, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates on the east, Oman on the southeast, and Yemen on the south, with the Persian Gulf  to its northeast and the Red Sea to its west. It has an estimated population of 27.5 million, and its size is approximately 2,150,000 square km (830,000 square miles)

L'Arabie saoudite ou Arabie Saoudite, plus rarement Arabie Séoudite, en forme longue le Royaume d'Arabie saoudite (al-Mamlakat al-'Arabiyat as-Sa'udiyat ), est le plus grand des pays de la péninsule arabique, au Moyen-Orient (plus de 2 millions de km²). Il est limitrophe de l'Irak, de la Jordanie, du Koweït, d'Oman, du Qatar, des Émirats arabes unis et du Yémen, et est bordé par la mer Rouge et le Golfe Persique.

Das Königreich Saudi-Arabien ist eine absolute Monarchie in Vorderasien. Saudi-Arabien liegt auf der Arabischen Halbinsel und grenzt an deren Anrainerstaaten (siehe unten Landesgrenzen), an das Rote Meer und den Persischen Golf. Die beiden heiligsten Stätten des Islam, die Kaaba in Mekka und die Ruhestätte des islamischen Propheten Mohammed in Medina, liegen in Saudi-Arabien. Der Islam salafitischer Prägung spielt in Saudi-Arabien eine große Rolle, das Land gilt als besonders strenggläubig und islamisch-konservativ. Das Wochenende ist am Donnerstag und Freitag, so ist der Donnerstag teilweise ein Ruhetag und der Freitag ein kompletter Ruhetag. In Saudi-Arabien gilt die islamische Zeitrechnung.

Graniczy z Irakiem, Jordanią, Kuwejtem, Omanem, Katarem, Zjednoczonymi Emiratami Arabskimi i Jemenem. Stolica znajduje się w Rijadzie. L'Arabia Saudita , ovvero "Regno Arabo Saudita" è uno Stato della Penisola araba. Confina con l'Iraq, la Giordania, il Kuwait, l'Oman, il Qatar, gli Emirati Arabi Uniti e lo Yemen. È bagnato dal Golfo Persico a nord-est e dal Mar Rosso ad ovest.
