Salzburg (state)
Salzburg (; Austro-Bavarian: Såizburg; literally: "Salt Castle") is a state or Land of Austria with an area of 7,156 km2, located adjacent to the German border. It is also known as Salzburgerland, to distinguish it from its capital city, also named Salzburg. With 529,085 inhabitants it is one of the country's smaller states in terms of population.

Salzburg ist ein Bundesland der  Republik Österreich. Seine eigenständige geschichtliche Entwicklung als geistliches Reichsfürstentum von 1328 bis 1803 und als Kurfürstentum bis 1805 unterscheidet das Land von der Geschichte anderer österreichischer Bundesländer.

Salzburg (land)
Salzburg (suprafaţă 7.154 km2, populaţie 520.000) este un stat federal (germană: Bundesland) al Austriei, având graniţă cu Bavaria (Germania) şi Tirolul de Sud (Italia). Este unul dintre statele federale ale Austriei cu cele mai mici numere de locuitori. Capitala bundeslandului Salzburg este oraşul Salzburg.
