Saliotite
Saliotite is a colorless to pearl white mineral comprised of a combination of the minerals cookeite and paragonite. Saliotite was discovered in 1994 at AndalusiaSpain and named after Pierre Saliot, a French geologist.It has the chemical formula Na0.5Li0.5Al3AlSi3O10(OH)5, has perfect cleavage, a pearly luster and leaves a white streak. Its crystal structure is monoclinic and it is a soft mineral with a hardness rated 2-3 on the Mohs Scale.
