Saalkreis
Saalkreis was a district (Kreis) in the south of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Neighboring districts were (from west clockwise) Mansfelder Land, Bernburg, Köthen, Bitterfeld, the district Delitzsch in the Free State of Saxony, and the district Merseburg-Querfurt. The district-free city Halle is nearly surrounded by the district.

Saalkreis
Der Saalkreis war ein Landkreis im Süden des Bundeslandes Sachsen-Anhalt. Am 1. Juli 2007 wurde er im Rahmen der Kreisgebietsreform in Sachsen-Anhalt mit dem Landkreis Merseburg-Querfurt zum neuen Saalekreis fusioniert. Nachbarkreise waren im Norden die Landkreise Bernburg, Köthen und Bitterfeld im Osten der sächsische Landkreis Delitzsch, im Süden der Landkreis Merseburg-Querfurt und im Westen der Landkreis Mansfelder Land. Die kreisfreie Stadt Halle (Saale) ragte von Süden pilzförmig in das Kreisgebiet und formte dieses zu einem unten offenen Ring.

Powiat Saal (niem. Saalkreis) - był do 1 lipca 2007 powiatem w niemieckim kraju związkowym Saksonia-Anhalt. Powiat Saal z powiatem Merseburg-Querfurt utworzył powiat Saale.
Stolicą powiatu Saale było Halle (miasto na prawach powiatu).

Powiat Saale (niem. Saalekreis) - powiat w niemieckim kraju związkowym Saksonia-Anhalt. Powstał po połączeniu się 1 lipca 2007 powiatu Saal z powiatem Merseburg-Querfurt.
Stolicą powiatu Saale jest Merseburg.

Saalkreis
Saalkreis is een voormalig district (Landkreis) in de Duitse deelstaat Saksen-Anhalt. Het had een oppervlakte van 628,29 km² en een inwoneraantal van 76.742 (31-05-2005). Het district is tijdens de tweede herindeling van Saksen-Anhalt op 1 juli 2007 opgegaan in het nieuw opgerichte district Saalekreis.

Depois de uma reforma dos distritos em Saxônia-Anhalt (em alemão: Kreisreform Sachsen-Anhalt 2007) que entrou em vigor em 1 de julho de 2007, o distrito de Saalkreis foi dissolvido e juntado ao novo distrito Saalekreis.
