SIEG

Shanghai Industrial Company, also known as SIEG, is a Chinese manufacturer of metalworking and woodworking machine tools. Their machines are commonly rebranded and sold by retailers around the world. They make two lines which correspond to the colors the machines are painted. The "Red and Black Series" are smaller machines aimed at the home shop market, while the "White and Blue Series" is intended for light industry.

It is a right tributary of the Rhine and 153 km in length.The source is located in the Rothaargebirge mountains. From here the river runs southwestwards to the city of Siegen and the hills of Siegerland, both named after the river. Further west the Sieg valley forms the boundary of the Bergisches Land (northern) and Westerwald (southern). The river finally runs through a protected area east of the city of Bonn.

Die Sieg ist ein 155,2 km langer, rechter bzw. östlicher  Nebenfluss des Rheins in Nordrhein-Westfalen und Rheinland-Pfalz. Sie ist ein silikatischer Mittelgebirgsfluss. Das mittlere Gefälle des Flusses, gemessen zwischen  Eitorf (NRW) und Betzdorf (RP), beträgt 0,15 %. Das Einzugsgebiet der Sieg (siehe unten) umfasst 2.832 km² und der mittlere Abfluss beträgt 52 m³/s am Pegel  Menden. Der Flussname Sieg hat keinen Bezug zu Sieg als Triumph, sondern leitet sich vom keltischen Wort „Sikkere“ ab, was soviel bedeutet wie „schneller Fluss“ (verwandt sind die ebenfalls keltischen Namen der Seine und des Shannon). Es ist nicht ganz klar, ob auch der Name des Volksstammes der Sugambrer verwandt ist (jedoch lebten Sugambrer und Ubier wohl in frühgeschichtlicher Zeit in Nachbarschaft des Siegerlandes).

Sieg, 155,2 km lang elv i Tyskland, som har sitt utspring på 603 meters høyde i fjellene Rothaargebirge i Siegerland, og renner rett vestover med fjellkjeden Bergisches Land i nord og Westerwald sør for elveløpet. Ved byen Siegburg renner elven ut i Rhinen øst for Bonn. Hele løpet går i delstaten Nordrhein-Westfalen. Nedbørsområdet er på 2 832 km², og vannføringen ved Sankt Augustin er 52 m3/s.
