SENSEI

is a Japanese title used to refer to or address teachers, professionals such as doctors and lawyers, politicians, clergymen, and other authority figures. It is also used to show respect to someone who has achieved a certain level of mastery in an art form or some other skill: accomplished novelists, musicians, and artists are addressed with the title in this way; for example, Japanese manga fans refer to manga artist Osamu Tezuka as "Tezuka-sensei." Sensei is also one of the common Japanese martial arts titles.

Sensei (せんせい ou 先生, parfois francisé en « senseï ») est un terme japonais désignant « celui qui était là avant moi, qui est garant du savoir et de l'expérience d'une technique ou d'un savoir-faire », ou de manière plus condensée un maître qui donne son enseignement à un kōhai (un élève). Dans son utilisation habituelle, il est utilisé pour s'adresser a un professeur ou enseignant ou encore à un médecin et pour s'adresser à un artiste reconnu.

Sensei [] (jap. 先 生, früher geboren) bedeutet „Lehrer“, „Meister“, „Autor“ oder „Doktor“. In Japan wird dieses Wort als ehrende Anrede für Akademiker benutzt, insbesondere für Hochschul- und Schullehrer, Mediziner und Anwälte. Es wird an den Familiennamen angehängt: So kann Katō-sensei z. B. „Herr Dr. Katō“ oder „Frau Prof. Katō“ bedeuten. Üblicherweise wird im Japanischen ein Sensei mit der Höflichkeitssprache 'Sonkeigo' angesprochen, während ein Schüler sich selber verbal unterwürfig zeigt und in Bezug auf sich selbst 'Kenjōgo' verwendet.

Sensei, (jap. dosł. "nauczyciel") — termin określający starszego stopniem instruktora w japońskich sztukach walki. Zazwyczaj odnosi się on do osoby posiadającej 3 lub 4  Dan, ale formy grzecznościowe nakazują zwracać się w ten sposób również do wszystkich posiadających stopień 1 i 2 DAN. Poza sztukami walki tytuł "sensei" odnosi się również do nauczycieli, profesorów i lekarzy.

Sensei (先生; letteralmente: "nato prima") è un termine giapponese che significa "maestro". Oltre a indicare i docenti scolastici, viene adoperato anche all'interno delle arti e tecniche tradizionali, dove il maestro spesso non viene visto come il semplice insegnante di nozioni, ma anche come un individuo dotato di autorità ed esperienza, ovvero un "maestro di vita".Il termine è adoperato anche per quelle personalità che, in ambito artistico, hanno raggiunto un notevole livello di eccellenza e popolarità: grandi registi, scrittori, artisti o fumettisti vengono quindi chiamati sensei.
