SASI

SASI or SASI Student Information System is a computer program developed by Pearson School Systems to electronically manage student attendance, discipline, grades and other student data. Features of SASI include SASIxp, Integrade Pro, classroomXP, and Parent Access. The SASI system is most commonly used for attendance, using optical scan systems. However, many schools now allow teachers to record student attendance on a computer, allowing for almost instant notification of parents that their child is absent or tardy to class.

The Saxons or Saxon people were a confederation of Old Germanic tribes whose modern-day descendants in northern Germany are considered ethnic Germans while those in the eastern Netherlands are considered to be ethnic Dutch, those in modern Normandy, ethnic French, and those in southern England, ethnic English. Their earliest known area of settlement is Northern Albingia, roughly that of today’s Holstein and the northeastern part of the Netherlands (Drenthe, Groningen, Twente, Achterhoek).

The Transylvanian Saxons (; ; ) are a people of German origin who settled in Transylvania   from the 12th century onwards.The colonization of Transylvania by Germans was begun by King Géza II of Hungary (1141–1162). For decades, the main task of the German settlers was to defend the southeastern border of the  Kingdom of Hungary. The colonization continued until the end of the 13th century. Although the colonists came mostly from the western Holy Roman Empire and generally spoke Franconian dialects, they were collectively known as Saxons because of Germans working for the Hungarian chancellery. For much of their history, these 'Saxons' held a privileged status with the Hungarians and Szeklers of Transylvania.

Les Saxons sont un peuple germanique, rattaché sur le plan ethnolinguistique au rameau westique. Ils sont mentionnés pour la première fois par l'astronome et géographe grec Claude Ptolémée, au de l'ère chrétienne. Il situe alors leurs terres dans le Jutland, et ce qui correspond à peu près à l'actuel Schleswig-Holstein d'où ils semblent s'être étendus au sud et à l'ouest.

Die Siebenbürger Sachsen sind eine deutschsprachige Minderheit im heutigen Rumänien, aus dem Landesteil Siebenbürgen. Sie stellen die älteste noch existierende Siedlergruppe der deutschen Ostsiedlung dar. Ihr Gebiet hatte nie Anschluss an reichsdeutsches Territorium, sondern gehörte stets zum Königreich Ungarn bzw. zum Kaisertum Österreich. Während 1910 etwa 250.000 Siebenbürger Sachsen in Siebenbürgen lebten, waren es im Jahr 2007 noch knapp 15.000. Die Mehrheit der Bevölkerung wanderte seit den 1970er Jahren und in einem großen Schub ab 1990 nach Deutschland aus. Organisierte Gemeinschaften von Siebenbürger Sachsen leben auch noch in Österreich, in Kanada und den USA.

Sasi (Saksoni, niem. Sachsen, ang. Saxons) – lud pochodzenia germańskiego, osiadły w średniowieczu w Westfalii i Dolnej Saksonii. W V-VI wieku wraz z Anglami i Jutami najechali Brytanię i założyli tam królestwa Wessex, Sussex i Essex. W latach 772-804 Karol Wielki podbił Sasów mieszkających na kontynencie i nawrócił ich na chrześcijaństwo. Na przełomie XII/XIII wieku dotarli jako osadnicy do Siedmiogrodu, na Węgry i Słowację oraz do południowej Polski głównie poprzez Węgry.Najpotężniejszy z rodów saskich, po ugruntowaniu swej pozycji w rodzimej Saksonii na przełomie IX i X wieku, opanował tron niemiecki (919-1024) zakładając dynastię saską Ludolfingów.

Con il termine Sasija, nel Medioevo le popolazioni slave delle attuali repubbliche ex-jugoslave di Serbia, Croazia, Macedonia, Montenegro e Bosnia, ma anche della Bulgaria, nonché le genti romanze della Valacchia e della Moldavia (Sasia) indicavano le regioni della Transilvania e della Slovacchia (all’epoca conosciuta come Ungheria Settentrionale) abitate da genti di lingua e cultura tedesca. Da queste due regioni, gruppi di coloni tedeschi si spostarono per stabilirsi nelle nazioni ora indicate ed ebbe così inizio la storia della presenza tedesca in queste aree. Secondo lo Jirecek, i Sasi provenivano unicamente dalla contea dello Zips (Spiš), nell’attuale Repubblica di Slovacchia, ma secondo altri, essi provenivano dall’area della città di Hermannstadt (Sibiu), in Transilvania, dove si erano già stabiliti a partire dal 1144, muovendo dall’area del Basso Reno.

Lo SCSI (acronimo di Small Computer System Interface) è un'interfaccia standard progettata per realizzare il trasferimento di dati fra diversi dispositivi interni di un computer (detti devices) collegati fra di loro tramite un bus. SCSI si pronuncia scasi (qualcuno, senza successo, ha proposto in passato la pronuncia sexy).
