Stormtroopers of Death, known as S.O.D., was a crossover thrash band formed in New York in 1985. They are credited as being among the first bands to fuse hardcore punk with thrash metal into a style sometimes called crossover thrash. The song "March of the S.O.D.," from their 1985 debut album, was the Headbanger's Ball intro anthem for many years.

Eine Grassode ist ein ausgestochenes, viereckiges Stück Grasnarbe. In feuchten Gegenden wurden diese Stücke als Baustoffe für Häuser verwendet.

S.O.D. (Abkürzung für Stormtroopers of Death) ist eine Thrash-Metal-Band aus den USA, die 1984 gegründet wurde. Sie bestand mit Scott Ian, Danny Lilker, Billy Milano und Charlie Benante aus Mitgliedern der Bands Anthrax, Nuclear Assault und hatte mehr den Charakter eines Nebenprojekts.

S.O.D., pour Stormtroopers of Death (lu comme un acronyme, sod veut dire « couillon » en anglais), est un groupe américain de Thrash Metal et de Thrashcore On appelait alors ce style Crossover (cf DRI et l'album de ce nom).

Stormtroopers of Death, S.O.D., var en amerikansk musikgrupp, bildad 1985, splittrat 2007. Bandet spelar en blandning av hardcorepunk och thrash metal, s.k. crossover thrash. S.O.D. hade medlemmar från de välkända grupperna Anthrax och Nuclear Assault bakom basen, trummorna och gitarren. En av Anthrax roddare vid namn Billy Milano hamnade bakom mikrofonen. Gruppens låtar har ofta anklagats att vara rasistiska, ett av dessa exempel är, "Fuck the middle east". S.O.D. har aldrig varit menade att tas seriösa.
