Flamenco Rumba
Rumba Flamenca, Flamenco Rumba, Rumba Gitana or Gypsy Rumba is a style of Flamenco music from Spain. Its style derives from the influence of Afro-Cuban Rumba brought back from Cuba to Spain in the 19th century.A characteric difference from Flamenco Rumba is that the rhythm is played with guitars and hand clapping, while the Cuban one uses drums and claves. However, modern guitarists such as Paco de Lucia and Tomatito have incorporated congas and cajon to the percussion section, as well as the hadclapping. The main rhythmic difference of the Rumba Flamenca as opposed to other, more traditional styles such as Bulerias and Fandango, is the tempo, which is slower than other flamenco forms. Unlike Cuban rumba, it does not prominently feature clave.
