Royal League

The Royal League is an annual Scandinavian football tournament between teams from the three Scandinavian monarchies (Denmark, Sweden, and Norway), starting after the end of the regular domestic seasons of Norway and Sweden. Denmark, however, are in mid-season when the tournament starts. The four best-placed teams in the football leagues of Denmark, Norway and Sweden participate in the tournament.

Die Royal League ist ein von den Fußballverbänden Dänemarks, Schwedens und Norwegens veranstalteter Wettbewerb für Fußballvereinsmannschaften zur Ermittlung eines Skandinavischen Meisters. Sie war zunächst für fünf Jahre geplant und fand erstmals im November 2004 statt. In der Saison 2007/08 wurde der Wettbewerb jedoch eingestellt, da keine Sponsoren gefunden werden konnten, die an den Übertragungsrechten interessiert waren.

Royal League, zimowe rozgrywki piłkarskie, w których startują cztery najlepsze kluby minionego sezonu z trzech lig skandynawskich: ze Szwecji (Allsvenskan), Norwegii (Tippeligaen) oraz Danii (Superligaen). Drużyny są podzielone na trzy grupy po cztery zespoły, w których grają dwa mecze (mecz i rewanż). Dwa najlepsze zespoły przechodzą do kolejnej rundy, w której rywalizują w dwóch trzyzespołowych grupach, w których rozgrywa się dwie kolejki spotkań. Zwycięzcy grup finałowych rozgrywają między sobą mecz finałowy, który wyłania zwycięzcę Royal League.

La Royal League è un torneo calcistico scandinavo che si disputa annualmente alla fine della stagione agonistica danese, svedese e norvegese. Vi partecipano i primi quattro club dei campionati danese, svedese e norvegese.La prima edizione si è disputata nel 2004/2005 e ha visto il successo dei danesi del FC Copenaghen contro gli svedesi de IFK Göteborg, nella finale disputata il 26 maggio 2005.La seconda edizione ha visto ancora una volta vincitori i giocatori del FC Copenaghen, che hanno sconfitto in finale la squadra norvegese del Lillestrøm S.K. il 6 aprile 2006.
