Metropolitan Borough of Rotherham
The Metropolitan Borough of Rotherham is a metropolitan borough of South Yorkshire, England. It is named for its largest town, Rotherham, but also spans the outlying towns of Maltby, Rawmarsh, Swinton, Wath-upon-Dearne, as well as a suburban and rural element composed of hills, escarpments and broad valleys.

Rotherham (borough)
Rotherham è un Metropolitan Borough del South Yorkshire, Inghilterra, Regno Unito, con sede nella città omonima.
Il distretto fu creato con il Local Government Act 1972, il 1 aprile 1974 dalla fusione del precedente county borough di Rotherham con i distretti urbani di Maltby and Rawmarsh, Swinton e Wath upon Dearne, con il distretto rurale di Rotherham e il distretto rurale di Kiveton Park.

Rotherham is een Engels district in het graafschap South Yorkshire en telt 248.175 inwoners. De oppervlakte bedraagt 286,5 km². Hoofdplaats is Rotherham. Van de bevolking is 15,6% ouder dan 65 jaar. De werkloosheid bedraagt 3,9% van de beroepsbevolking (cijfers volkstelling 2001).
