Robot is a forthcoming science-fiction film to be directed by S. Shankar, who with Robot, will direct his tenth feature film. Despite several rumours regarding the lead actor, Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan has been formally announced to portray the title role. Khan is also set to produce the project under his home banner, Red Chillies Entertainment, while A. R. Rahman will handle the music.
