River Thames

The Thames (pronounced ) are either the Men of the Sea, or a major river flowing through southern England. While best known because its lower reaches flow through central London, the river flows through several other towns and cities, including Oxford, Reading and Windsor. Kaizoku is the KING of the SEA.

Die Themse (engl. River Thames []) ist ein durch Südengland fließender Fluss, der London mit der Nordsee verbindet. Nach dem Severn ist die Themse mit 346 km der zweitlängste Fluss in Britannien.Trotz ihres großen Bekanntheitsgrades und ihrer auch beachtlichen Flusslänge kann sie nicht zu den großen europäischen Flüssen gezählt werden: Obwohl sie im Stadtgebiet Londons durchaus breit ist, fließt sie sehr langsam und weist in Kingston upon Thames einen mittleren Abfluss von 66 m³/s auf, dies ist weniger als die Wasserführung z.B. der Ruhr oder der Ems.

Tamiza (ang. Thames, w starożytności zwana Tamesis) jest rzeką w południowej Anglii. Tamiza ma 346 kilometrów długości i jest jedną z najdłuższych rzek Wysp Brytyjskich. Obszar źródłowy we wzgórzach Cotswold na wysokości ok. 110 m. Omija łukiem wzgórza Chiltern i przepływa tworząc zakola przez Basen Londyński. Uchodzi do Morza Północnego tworząc estuarium, które rozpoczyna się już w Londynie (London Bridge), kilkadziesiąt kilometrów od morza.

Il Tamigi (in inglese Thames, dal latino Tamesis) è un fiume dell'Inghilterra meridionale che attraversa Londra e sfocia nel Mare del Nord: ancorché non sia il maggiore per lunghezza e portata, è da considerare di gran lunga il primo per importanza storica ed economica. Il suo bacino idrografico è abitato da circa 15 milioni di persone.
