River Hull
The River Hull is a navigable river in the East Riding of Yorkshire in the north of England. It has its source in the Yorkshire Wolds. It is navigable from its junction with the Driffield Navigation at Aike Beck, and it continues via the junctions with the Leven Canal, the Arram Beck and Beverley Beck. It then joins the Humber estuary in the centre of Kingston upon Hull. Its course bisects the city's industrial area, and several opening bridges have been constructed. These continue to cause traffic delays during high tides, though river traffic has decreased in recent years.
