Rishonim

Rishonim (Hebrew: ראשונים; sing. ראשון, Rishon) "the former ones," were the leading Rabbis and Poskim who lived approximately during the 11th to 15th centuries, in the era before the writing of the Shulkhan Arukh and following the Geonim. Rabbinic scholars subsequent to the Shulkhan Arukh are known as " Acharonim — the latter ones".

Les Rishonim (sing. Rishon), grandes figures du judaïsme médiéval, littéralement "Les Premiers" ou "Les Anciens" (commentateurs) sont les Rabbins et Posqim qui vécurent de l’ère comprise entre les Gueonim et le Choulhan Aroukh, c’est-à-dire de 1250 à 1500.

Los Rishonim (Hebreo: ראשונים; singular. ראשון, Rishon) literalmente "El primero" fueron los rabinos principales y los Poskim (referentes) que vivieron aproximadamente entre el siglo XI y el siglo XV, antes de la escritura del Shulján Aruj y luego de los Geonim. Los rabinos eruditos a posteriori del Shulján Aruj son conocidos como los " Ajaronim — Los últimos".

בתולדות עם ישראל, ובמיוחד בהקשר של השתלשלות ההלכה ופרשנות התלמוד, מכנים בשם הראשונים את הרבנים והיוצרים שפעלו בין המאה ה-11 והמאה ה-15 לערך. תקופת הראשונים באה אחרי תקופת הגאונים ולפני תקופת האחרונים, ונודעה לה חשיבות רבה בעיצוב עולם ההלכה וביצירת ארון הספרים היהודי. בין הרבנים המרכזיים שפעלו בתקופת הראשונים בולטים הרי"ף, רש"י, הרמב"ם, הרא"ש, בנו רבי יעקב בן אשר, הרמב"ן ועוד כמה עשרות רבנים שיצרו בתחומי ההלכה, פרשנות המקרא והתלמוד, הפילוסופיה היהודית, המיסטיקה היהודית, השירה והפיוט ועוד.
