Rishon LeZion

Rishon LeZion (, lit. first to Zion), is a city on Israel's central coastal plain, south of Tel Aviv. It is part of the Tel Aviv metropolitan area (Gush Dan) and Israel's fourth largest city, with a population of 222,300 residents in 2006. The mayor is Meir Nitzan.
