Rio Rancho, (Spanish: Río Rancho) is a suburb of Albuquerque,and is the largest city and economic hub of Sandoval County in the U.S. state of New Mexico. It is the fourth-largest and fastest-growing city in New Mexico. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 51,765. It has risen to 71,607 as of the 2006 census estimate and is expected to reach 125,000 by 2010.
