Rhône-Alpes

Rhône-Alpes (Franco-Provençal : Rôno-Arpes; Occitan: Ròse Aups) is one of the 26 regions of France, located on the eastern border of the country, towards the south. The region was named after the Rhône River and the Alps mountain range. Its capital, Lyon, is the second-largest metropolitan area in France after Paris.

Rhône-Alpes est une région française qui regroupe huit départements : l'Ain, l'Ardèche, la Drôme, l'Isère, la Loire, le Rhône, la Savoie et la Haute-Savoie. Son chef-lieu est Lyon, qui en est aussi sa plus grande ville. C'est la deuxième région de France en superficie (après Midi-Pyrénées), en économie et en population (après Île-de-France). Rhône-Alpes [] ist eine Region im Südosten Frankreichs. Sie ist nach dem Fluss Rhône und den Alpen benannt. Sie hat eine Fläche von 43.698 km² und etwa 6 Millionen Einwohner. Hauptstadt ist Lyon.Die Region besteht aus den Départements Ain, Ardèche, Drôme, Isère, Loire, Rhône, Savoie und Haute-Savoie. Die Region stellt nach der Region Midi-Pyrénées die zweitgrößte Frankreichs dar. Gemessen an der Einwohnerzahl und der Wirtschaftskraft liegt sie gleichfalls an zweiter Stelle nach der Region Île de France.

Rodan-Alpy (Region Rodano-Alpejski, fr. Rhône-Alpes) - region administracyjny w południowo-wschodniej Francji. Nazwa regionu wywodzi się od nazwy głównej rzeki - Rodanu oraz łańcucha górskiego Alp, który rozciąga się we wschodniej części tego obszaru. Na jego terenie znajdują się dwie historyczne krainy: Lyonnais i Sabaudia, a także Bresse (do XVII wieku w Sabaudii).

Il Rodano-Alpi (in francese Rhône-Alpes) è una regione della francia sud-orientale. Composta da otto dipartimenti, è la seconda regione francese per superficie (dopo il Midi-Pirenei). Il suo capoluogo è Lione, che è anche la città più grande. Le città principali della regione, oltre a Lione, sono Saint-Étienne, Grenoble e Villeurbanne. La regione fa parte dell'Euroregione Alpi-Mediterraneo.
