Reza Pahlavi

Reza Pahlavi, Crown Prince of Iran (Persian: رضا پهلوی, born October 31, 1960) is the eldest son of the late Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi and his Empress Consort, Farah Diba.He succeeded his father as Head of the House of the Pahlavi dynasty and is currently the successor to the former Pahlavi throne of Iran. As such he is referred to by supporters as His Imperial Majesty Reza Shah II, though he does not use this style himself.

Cyrus Reza Pahlawi (pers. شاهزاده رضا پهلوی, ur. 31 października 1960 w Teheranie), najstarszy syn ostatniego szacha Iranu Mohammada Rezy Pahlawiego i jego trzeciej żony Farah Pahlawi. Nel febbraio del 1921, Reza Khan Mirpanj (رضا خان میرپنج), questo era il suo nome e grado, compì un colpo di stato assieme a Seyyed Zyadeddin Tabatabai, che divenne il primo ministro. Reza era un comandante militare che era salito nei ranghi fino a comandare la Brigata Cosacca addestrata dai Russi, diventando noto come Reza Khan Sardar Sepah (رضا خان سردار سپه). Successivamente (aprile 1921), divenne ministro della guerra. Lo Scià Ahmad Qajar infine, lo nominò suo primo ministro il 26 ottobre 1923, prima di venire deposto. Il suo dominio venne formalizzato quando venne proclamato Scià dall'Assemblea iraniana il 12 dicembre 1925. Egli prestò giuramento imperiale il 15 dicembre 1925, divenendo così il primo Scià della dinastia Pahlavi.
