República Oriental del Uruguay

La República Oriental del Uruguay es un país de América del Sur cuyo territorio es el segundo más pequeño del subcontinente, con una superficie de 176.215 km². Al norte y noreste limita con el estado brasileño de Río Grande del Sur. Al oeste limita con las provincias argentinas de Entre Ríos y Corrientes, de la cual está separada por el río Uruguay, y por el sur tiene costas sobre el Río de la Plata, el cual lo separa de la provincia de Buenos Aires y de la ciudad de Buenos Aires. Por el sureste, tiene costas sobre el Océano Atlántico.
