Reichsgau
A Reichsgau (plural Reichsgaue) was an administrative subdivision created in a number of the areas annexed to Nazi Germany between 1938 and 1945. It should not be confused with the Gau, an administrative region of the NSDAP (Nazi Party).

Reichsgau
Reichsgaue waren staatliche Verwaltungsbezirke in Teilen des Deutschen Reiches in der Zeit des Nationalsozialismus von 1939 bis 1945.

Рейхсгау
Рейхсгау ( — имперские округа; не путать с партийными гау) назывались единицы административного деления Германии во времена правления национал-социалистов с 1939 по 1945.
Рейхсгау образовывались на территориях, вновь присоединённых к рейху:
- Остмарк — бывшая Австрия, затем разделена на 7 рейхсгау по числу земель;
- Судетская область — территории судетских немцев, отошедшие от Чехословакии по Мюнхенскому соглашению в 1938, столица — Райхенберг (Либерец);
- Данциг-Западная Пруссия — на территории бывшего вольного города Данцига и части Польши после 1939;
- Вартеланд — часть бывшей Польши; столица — Позен (Познань).

Saksan valtakunnan siviilihallinto toisen maailmansodan aikana ja myös sitä ennen 1934 tehdyn valtiosääntöuudistuksen perusteella pohjautui valtakunnanpiireihin (saksaksi Reichsgau erotukseksi Saksan kansallissosialistisen työväenpuolueen piireistä, saksaksi Gau).
