Rama

Rama ( in IAST, in Devanāgarī) or Ramachandra was a legendary king of ancient India. In Hinduism, he is considered to be the seventh Avatar of Vishnu. Rama is one of the most popular heroes of Hinduism and its religious scriptures in South and Southeast Asia. The majority of details concerning Rama come from the Ramayana, one of the two great epics of India. Born as the eldest son of Kausalya and Dasaratha, king of Ayodhya, Rama is referred to within Hinduism as Maryada Purushottama, literally the Perfect Man. Rama is the husband of Sita, who Hindus consider to be an Avatar of Lakshmi and the embodiment of perfect womanhood.

Moses Isserles (or Moshe Isserlis) (1520 - 1572), was a Rabbi and Talmudist, renowned for his fundamental work of Halakha (Jewish law), entitled HaMapah (lit. "the tablecloth"), a commentary on - and component of - the Shulkhan Arukh (lit. "the set table"). He is also well known for Darkhei Moshe, a commentary on the Tur. Moses Isserles is also "the ReMA" (or "the RAMA") רמ״א, the Hebrew acronym for Rabbi Moses Isserles.

Rama is a first-person adventure game developed and published by Sierra Entertainment in 1996. The game is based on Arthur C. Clarke's books Rendezvous with Rama and Rama II and supports both DOS and Windows 95. It is the second Rama game to be produced. Earlier, a text adventure with low-resolution semi-static view graphics for every visited location was released in 1984 by Telarium (also confusingly double-branding on its products as Trillium) and exported to systems such as the Apple II and Commodore 64.

Râma ou Râm (राम en devanāgarī, இராமர் en tamoul ) est un roi véritable ou mythique de l'Inde antique, dont la vie et les exploits héroïques sont relatés dans le Râmâyana, une des deux épopées majeures de l'Inde, écrites en sanskrit. Des données astronomiques extraites du poème épique permettraient de dater son règne approximativement au La tradition hindouiste prétend qu'il aurait apporté le bonheur et la paix durant le Trêta-Yuga.

Rama oder Ram (Sanskrit, m., राम, ) ist nach den Lehren des Hinduismus die siebte Inkarnation von Vishnu, einem hinduistischen Gott. Er gilt als gebildet, schön und mit allen königlichen Eigenschaften ausgestattet. Seine Geschichte wird in dem indischen Heldenepos Ramayana erzählt. Dies handelt von Ramas Verbannung in die Waldeinsamkeit und dem Sieg über Ravana, nachdem dieser seine Gattin Sita nach Lanka entführt hatte. Ein wesentlicher Helfer bei diesem Kampf war Hanuman, der Affengott.

Rama ( dewanagari राम , tamilski இராமர் ) - w hinduizmie kolejne wcielenie Wisznu. W wisznuizmie uznawany za Boga. Jest księciem, cnotliwym członkiem rodziny, wzorem postępowania. Jego dzieje opisane są w eposie Ramajana. Narodził się specjalnie po to by zabić demona Rawanę, walczył z demonami przez 14 lat. Jego nieodłącznymi towarzyszami są: żona Sita, brat Lakszman oraz Hanuman. Rama przyjął synostwo swojego czystego bhakty Maharadży Daśarathy; Króla Ayodhi. Inkarnował razem ze swoimi współemanacjami, i wszyscy z nich pojawili się jako jego młodsi bracia .Pan pojawił się w miesiącu Ćaitra, dziewiątego dnia przybywającego księżyca w Treta judze.

RAMA è un'avventura grafica in prima persona sviluppata e pubblicata dalla Sierra Entertainment nel 1996. Il videogioco è basato sui romanzi di Arthur C. Clarke Incontro con Rama e Rama II. RAMA è stato rilasciato per sistemi MS-DOS e Microsoft Windows 95. Questo è il secondo videogioco basato sui libri dopo l'avventura testuale nel 1984 prodotta dalla Tellurium per Apple II e Commodore 64. E' stato realizzato con veri attori tra cui lo stesso Arthur C. Clarke nel ruolo di se stesso. E' arrivato in Italia completamente tradotto e doppiato.

Presso la religione induista, Rama (ca. 7000 AC) è il settimo Avatar di Viṣṇu, manifestatosi nel regale principe per risollevare le sorti della morale degli uomini, ormai soggiogati da Ravana. Il suo nome completo è Ramachandra, e spesso viene preceduto dal titolo di rispetto induista, Shri. Egli rappresenta la personificazione dell'Assoluto Brahman e l'incarnazione del Dharma, l'Uomo Perfetto (Maryada Purushottama). È l'Avatar del Treta Yuga, l'età dell'argento, caratterizzata dalla comparsa del vizio e della malvagità.
