RAW

Raw describes a material that is in its natural unprocessed form, or has not had the final stages of processing. Radio Warwick or RaW is the student radio station at the University of Warwick and winner of the 2000 and 2003 BBC Radio 1 Student Radio Association Best Station awards. Formerly known as W963, during the years when broadcasts were conducted via an induction loop around the university campus on 963 kHz AM, Radio Warwick now broadcasts from the top of the Students' Union South building on 1251 kHz AM to the campus and on FM for four weeks each year to Coventry, Kenilworth and surrounding areas. Radio Warwick also streams all its output online.

RAW est un format de fichier pour les images numériques. Ce n'est pas un format standard, mais plutôt la désignation d'un certain type de fichier créé par des dispositifs tels que les appareils photo numériques ou les scanneurs et caractérisé par le fait d'avoir subi un minimum de traitement informatique.

Radio Warwick, ou RaW, est la station de radio étudiante de l'université de Warwick, au Royaume-Uni. Elle a gagné à deux reprises, en 2000 et en 2003 le prix de la meilleure radio étudiante organisé par la Student Radio Association et BBC Radio 1. Elle compte parmi ses anciens animateurs Timmy Mallett, Simon Mayo, James King et Stephen Merchant, tous devenus célèbres sur des radios britanniques nationales telle que la BBC, ou dans d'autres domaines. L'un de ces fondateur de la radio est l'un des candidats à la présidence du Parti conservateur britannique, David Davis.

Ring of Honor (kurz RoH) ist eine amerikanische Wrestlingpromotion, die im Jahre 2002 gegründet wurde. Sie ist eine der größten und bekanntesten Independent-Ligen, jedoch nicht vergleichbar mit der WWE, dem Marktführer im US-Wrestling. In der Regel gibt es 2 bis 3 Wochenende pro Monat an denen jeweils 2 Shows produziert werden, die im Free TV in England auf dem Wrestling Channel gezeigt werden und welche es auf DVD zu bestellen gibt. Allerdings werden auch alle 2 Monate in Amerika Ring of Honor Shows als Pay-per-Views ausgestrahlt. Außerdem finden regelmäßig Shows in England statt und Mitte Juli auch die ersten beiden Shows in Japan.

RAW (ang. surowy) - ogólne określenie formatów zapisu danych bez nagłówków (informatyka). W fotografii cyfrowej rejestracja obrazu w formacie RAW pozwala na zachowanie najwyższej jakości obrazu oferowanej przez aparat (duża głębia koloru, brak kompresji stratnej), dając możliwość dokładnej obróbki pliku na komputerze. Plik w formacie RAW uważa się za cyfrowy odpowiednik negatywu, a ich konwersję za wywołanie. Wywołanie RAW-u można powtarzać np. dla różnego balansu bieli, ale jest procesem nieodwracalnym. Nie można przekształcić zdjęć np. w formacie jpg na format RAW.
