RAINBOW

Rainbows are optical and meteorological phenomena that cause a spectrum of light to appear in the sky when the Sun shines onto droplets of moisture in the Earth's atmosphere. They take the form of a multicoloured arc, with red on the outer part of the arch and violet on the inner section of the arch. More rarely, a secondary rainbow is seen, which is a second, fainter arc, outside the primary arc, with colours in the opposite order, that is, with violet on the outside and red on the inside.

Rainbow is an album by Ayumi Hamasaki. It was released on December 18, 2002. This album featured more music producing from DAI (of Do As Infinity) and Crea (Hamasaki's producer pen name). Since Loveppears, this album is the first studio album from her that did not break the two million mark. The single "Free & Easy" lost out the top daily spot to Kuraki Mai's "Feel Fine!", but eventually took the top position for the week. However, the single "H" is the only single that broke the million mark in Japan in 2002. The hidden track "+" begins where the song "independent" abruptly ends.

Ein Regenbogen ist ein Phänomen der atmosphärischen Optik, das als kreisbogenförmiges Lichtband mit vielen Spektralfarben in einem charakteristischen Farbverlauf wahrgenommen wird. Er entsteht wenn die hinter dem Beobachter stehende Sonne eine vor ihm befindliche Regenwolke bescheint, verursacht durch das Wechselspiel annähernd kugelförmiger Wassertropfen mit dem Sonnenlicht, welches bei Ein- und Austritt aus dem Tropfen wellenlängenabhängig gebrochen und an der rückwärtigen inneren Oberfläche richtungsabhängig reflektiert wird. Eine extrem seltene Variante des Regenbogens ist der Mondregenbogen, der beim Zusammenspiel von Wassertröpfchen mit Mondlicht unter günstigen Bedingungen zu sehen ist.

Rainbow (ang. "tęcza") - grupa rockowa założona w roku 1975 przez legendarnego gitarzystę Deep Purple Ritchiego Blackmore`a. Początkowo zespół grał dość ostre hardrockowe utwory z elementami klasyki. Po odejściu Ronniego Jamesa Dio grupa poszła w stronę bardziej łagodnego i melodyjnego rocka. Następcą Dio został Graham Bonnet, który nagrał z Rainbow tylko jedną płytę Down To Earth, zawierającą dwa wielkie przeboje: Since You've Been Gone i All Night Long. Kolejnym wokalistą został Joe Lynn Turner, który doskonale odnalazł się w nowej, melodyjnej stylistyce grupy. Przeboje z jego udziałem to między innymi I Surrender, Stone Cold i Street Of Dreams. Koncerty Rainbow dorównywały swoim poziomem koncertom Deep Purple- wciąż można było usłyszeć rozwinięte improwizacje, płynne przejście z jednego utworu w drugi i spontanicznie wstawiane pomiędzy utworami różnego rodzaju melodie np. z muzyki klasycznej. Ostatni koncert grupy odbył się w marcu 1984 w Japonii, czego powodem było wznowienie działalności Deep Purple po 8 latach przerwy. Zespół reaktywował się w roku 1994 po kolejnym odejściu Ritchie'go Blackmore'a z Deep Purple, nagrywając ostatni jak do tej pory album studyjny Stranger In Us All w zupełnie odmienionym składzie. Wokalistą został wtedy Doogie White. Niedługo potem, w roku 1997, lider grupy zajął się tworzeniem muzyki w stylu renesansowym i założył wraz ze swoją życiową towarzyszką Candice zespół Blackmore's Night.

I Rainbow furono un importante gruppo hard rock/heavy metal inglese degli anni settanta, fondato da Ritchie Blackmore. Appartengono alla medesima area di gruppi come Deep Purple, Whitesnake o Black Sabbath; spesso annoverati fra i padri fondatori dell'heavy metal, questi gruppi arrivarono a tratti ad avvicinarsi all'art rock e al progressive.

L'arcobaleno è un fenomeno ottico e meteorologico che produce uno spettro (quasi) continuo di luce nel cielo quando il Sole si riflette sulle gocce rimaste in sospensione dopo un temporale, o presso una cascata o una fontana.Visivamente è un arco multicolore, rosso sull'esterno e viola sulla parte interna; la sequenza completa è rosso, arancione, giallo, verde, azzurro, indaco e violetto. Esso è la conseguenza della dispersione e dalla rifrazione della luce solare contro le pareti delle gocce stesse.In rari casi, un arcobaleno lunare, o notturno, può essere visto nelle notti di forte luce lunare. Ma, dato che la percezione umana dei colori in condizioni di poca luminosità è scarsa, gli arcobaleni lunari sono percepiti come bianchi.
