RAF Benson is a Royal Air Force station near Benson in OxfordshireEngland. It is home to the Royal Air Force's medium transport helicopters, the Puma and Merlin. Benson is currently home to 28 Sqn and 33 Sqn and also to Oxford UAS and 6 AEF. Previous units once based there include the Queen's Flight.It is also being used to train RAF cadets from nearby bases, using four Grob Tutor light aircraft. Currently, at least 10 different RAF cadet bases use RAF Benson to train the future pilots in basic flight.
