R2 (COEFFICIENT OF DETERMINATION)

(Statistics) A measure of the fraction of the variance of the Dependent, or Endogenous Variable explained by the Independent, or Exogenous Variable(s). Where only two variables are involved, i.e., the dependent variable and a single independent variable, the coefficient of determination (R2) is also equal to the square of the Correlation Coefficient.
