Quraysh

Quraish is also the name of a Surah in the Qur'an. Quraysh or Quraish (Arabic: . Other transliterations include "Quresh", "Quraysh", "Koreish" and "Coreish". Turkish: Kureyş. Albanian: Korreshi) was the dominant tribe of Mecca upon the appearance of the religion of Islam. It was both the tribe to which the Islamic Prophet Muhammad belonged and as well as the tribe that led the initial opposition to his message.

Les Quraychites, Qorayshites ou Koraïchites sont les descendants de Quraych (qurayš ), le terme signfie littéralement en arabe petit requin, un assez lointain ancêtre appelé aussi Fihr. Ils appartiennent au groupe des Arabes du Nord (ou Arabes arabisés) qui se disaient descendants d'Adnan et par lui d'Ismaël. Six générations après Quraysh, Qusay (quṣay ben kilāb ) parvient à les fédérer et à prendre à la tribu qahtani des Khuzaa - selon la tradition grâce à une alliance matrimoniale - le contrôle de La Mecque, de ses puits et du pèlerinage autour de la Kaaba.

Die Koreischiten (auch Quraisch, Quraish oder Quraysh, ) sind ein arabischer Stamm, von dem der Prophet Mohammed abstammt. Die Koreischiten führen ihre Abstammung auf Abraham zurück.Während des frühen 6. Jahrhunderts übernahmen die Koreisch die Kontrolle über die Stadt Mekka und die schon in vorislamischer Zeit als Heiligtum verehrte Kaaba. Sie konnten sich vor allem als erfolgreiche Händler etablieren, durch Clanrivalitäten innerhalb des Stammes zerfiel dieser jedoch in Fraktionen.

Kurajszyci - (Korejszyci, Banu Kurajsz, Banu Qurayš, ar.قريش) plemię beduińskie, wywodzące się od Kusaja ibn Kilaba, zamieszkujące okolice Mekki i władające nim od VII wieku. Kurajszyci byli plemieniem kupieckim, utrzymujące kontakty handlowe z Persją, Jemenem, Bizancjum oraz Abisynią. Z plemienia wywodzi się kilka rodów. Do najważniejszych należy Haszim (Hašim), z którego pochodził Mahomet, i Umajja (Umayya), skąd wywodzi się dynastia Omajjadów.Kurajszyci, wyznający politeizm, po podpisaniu traktatu z Mahometem w 628 roku przyjęli islam.

Banū Quraysh (بنو قريش, letteralmente I figli di Quràysh), o semplicemente Quràysh è il nome assunto dalla tribù araba stanziata a Mecca nel VII secolo d. C.Le origini della tribù non sono note. Il nome Quràysh (che sembra indicare un piccolo squalo o un'orca) non ci aiuta perché, come per ogni riferimento al mondo animale, non è in grado di identificare un eponimo reale, anche se sarà in seguito affermato che Quraysh fosse il soprannome di un fantomatico Fihr.
