Quicksand (Band)

Quicksand was a post-hardcore band from New York City, and retrospectively one of the most influential rock acts of that era, led by former Gorilla Biscuits guitarist Walter Schreifels. The creative blueprint that Quicksand provided can still be heard in current hard rock trends. British bands such as Hundred Reasons and Hell Is for Heroes are two such groups who take their cues from this band.
