Quazepam (marketed under brand names Doral, Dormalin) is a
drug which is a
benzodiazepine derivative. Quazepam induces impairment of motor function and has hypnotic properties.Quazepam is used to treat
insomnia. Usual dosage is 7.5 to 15 mg orally at bedtime. Side effects include drowsiness, loss of coordination, unsteady gait, dizziness, lightheadedness, and slurred speech. It is long-acting benzodiazepine.
