Qom

Qom (Persian: قم, also known as Q'um or Kom) is a city in Iran. It lies by road southwest of Tehran and is the capital of Qom Province. It has an estimated population of 1,042,309 in 2005.[1] It is situated on the banks of the Qom river.Qom is considered to be a holy city in Shi`a Islam, as it is the site of the shrine of Fatema Mæ'sume, sister of Imam `Ali ibn Musa Rida (Persian Imam Reza, 789-816 A.D.). The city is the largest center for Shi'a scholarship in the world, and is a significant destination of pilgrimage.

The King of the Mountains (KoM) is the title given to the best climber in a cycling road race; usually and officially known as the Mountains classification. For women's cycle racing, a similar term, Queen of the Mountains (QoM) is used.While the title may be given to the rider who achieves the highest position over several designated climbs in a single-day road race, it is more usually applied to stage races (for example, the Tour de France, Giro d'Italia or Vuelta a España) where points are accumulated over the duration of the whole race.

Qom bzw. Ghom (auch Qum, Kum; //) ist die Hauptstadt der Provinz Qom im Iran. Sie hat über 1.000.000 Einwohner (stark wachsend) und ist eine der heiligen Städte der Schia. Ihre islamisch-theologische Hochschule wurde in Europa vor allem durch Ajatollah Ruhollah Chomeini bekannt. Nach diesem ist das Imam-Chomeini-Institut (auch: Imam-Khomeini-Institut) seit der Einweihung eines neuen Gebäudes 1995 heute auch benannt. Es gilt derzeit als Hort besonders extremistischer Schiiten, so u.a. der Hojjatieh-Gesellschaft.

Lider klasyfikacji górskiej ("najlepszy góral", "Król gór") to tytuł nadawany zawodnikowi ścigającemu się w kolarskim wyścigu etapowym, który zdobył najwięcej punktów na tzw. górskich premiach. Określenie to jest też czasem stosowane w wyścigach jednoetapowych, jednak bardziej adekwatne i częściej używane jest w odniesieniu do dużych tourów, gdzie klasyfikacja jest podliczana z etapu na etap.
