Qaasuitsup (, "Place of Polar Darkness") is a new municipality in Greenland, operational from 1 January 2009. As of January 2010 its population is 17,749. The administrative center of the municipality is in Ilulissat (formerly called Jakobshavn). The municipality consists of the former municipalities of western and northern Greenland, each named after the biggest settlement:

• Kangaatsiaq Municipality
• Ilulissat Municipality
• Qaanaaq Municipality
• Qasigiannguit Municipality
• Qeqertarsuaq Municipality
• Uummannaq Municipality
• Upernavik Municipality

Qaasuitsup kommun, ny storkommun på norra Grönland efter den stora kommunreformen som genomfördes 1 januari 2009 när Grönlands 18 kommuner slogs samman till enbart fyra storkommuner.

Qaasuitsup er en kommune på Grønland. Kommunen er en ny, som består av de tidligere kommunene Kangaatsiaq, Aasiaat, Qasigiannguit, Ilulissat, Qeqertarsuaq, Uummannaq, Upernavik, og Qaanaaq. I januar 2008 har Qaasuitsup en befolkning på 17 867. Dette er en stor kommune på Grønland, med 660 000 km², større en Frankrike.
