Provinces of Spain
Spain and its autonomous communities are divided into fifty provinces (, ; sing. provincia). These closely follow the pattern of the territorial division of the country carried out in 1833. The only major change of provincial borders since that time has been the sub-division of the Canary Islands into two provinces rather than one.

Liste der Provinzen Spaniens
Spanien ist in 17 Autonome Regionen und 2 Autonome Städte (Ceuta und Melilla) mit unterschiedlichen Ausmaßen an Eigenständigkeit gegliedert. Unterhalb der Autonomen Regionen ist der Staatsverband in 50 Provinzen unterteilt.

Provinces d'Espagne
L'Espagne comprend 50 provinces qui forment l'essentiel du territoire du pays à l'exception des deux villes autonomes de Ceuta et Melilla. Depuis 1978, les provinces disposent de moins de pouvoirs que les 17 communautés autonomes composées d'une ou plusieurs provinces, qui jouissent d'une assez large autonomie par rapport au gouvernement central.

Prowincje Hiszpanii
Zanim wprowadzone zostały wspólnoty autonomiczne, prowincje były najważniejszymi, postawowymi jednostkami podziału administracyjnego. Do tej pory są one okręgami wyborczymi i strefami numerycznymi, a przypisany im numer jest częścią kodu pocztowego. Prowincje mają też charakter odniesień geograficznych.
