Protoplasta

Protoplasta (gr. próton plastós - najpierw ukształtowany) – najstarszy znany przodek, od którego wywodzi się jakiś ród. Inaczej osoba, poza którą nie sięga historia danego rodu.Protoplasta jest najstarszym antenatem, ponieważ urodził się najwcześniej. Natomiast najdłużej żyjąca osoba w rodzinie nazywana jest seniorem rodu.
