promiscuous
adj.
indiscriminate, lacking discernment; wanton, licentious; mixed, blended
Promiscuity
Promiscuity is the practice of making casual, indiscriminate choices. Commonly, promiscuity is applied to the
sexual behaviour of a man or woman who does not limit his or her
sex life by the strictures of the regnant cultural norm, typically one sexual partner or lover, or to a long-term,
monogamous sexual relationship. Given this usage's denotation, this article is about sexual promiscuity. The men and women called "promiscuous" per this usage, may, in fact, be selective in choosing with whom to copulate.
