Pristina

Priština, also spelled Pristina (Serbian: Приштина or Priština, Albanian: Prishtinë or Prishtina, ) is the capital and the largest city of Kosovo, a Serbian province under United Nations administration since the 1999 Kosovo War.It is estimated that the current population of the city stands between 550,000 and 600,000. The city has a majority Albanian population, alongside other smaller communities including Serbs, Bosniaks, Roma and others. The territory's interim government and the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) have their headquarters in the city. It is the administrative, educational, cultural center of Kosovo. The city is home to the University of Priština and has an international airport, Priština International Airport, with the IATA airport code of PRN and ICAO code LYPR (temporarily BKPR while UNMIK in effect).

Priština (serbisch: Приштина/Priština, albanisch: Prishtina/Prishtinë) ist die größte Stadt und Hauptstadt des Kosovo, dessen politisches, wirtschaftliches und kulturelles Zentrum sie ist. Sie beherbergt das Hauptquartier der UNMIK, der OSZE-Mission im Kosovo und der EU-Mission im Kosovo sowie der wichtigsten Institutionen wie Parlament, Regierung und Präsident des Kosovo. Pristina jest położona w północno-wschodniej części kraju; w Górach Dynarskich, w kotlinie Kosowe Pole; stolica okręgu prisztińskiego; ośrodek przemysłu (spożywczy, włókienniczy, mineralny i drzewny), rzemiosła i handlu; uniwersytet, Akademia Nauk i Sztuk; muzeum; 2 meczety (XIV-XV wiek), wieża zegarowa (XIX wiek), domy w stylu orientalnym.

Pristina (in albanese Prishtinë o Prishtina; in serbo Приштина, Priština) è il capoluogo e maggiore città della provincia autonoma indipendentista (sotto amministrazione Onu) del Kosovo. Ha circa 500.000 abitanti a maggioranza albanese. Dal 1941 al 1944 fu capoluogo della provincia omonima unita all'Albania (parte del Regno d'Italia dal 1939 al 1944).
