Principality of Catalonia

The Principality of Catalonia (Catalan: Principat de Catalunya; Aranese: Principautat de Catalonha; Spanish: Principado de Cataluña; French: Principauté de Catalogne), from the Latin Principatus Cathaloniae, is a historic territory in the northeastern Iberian Peninsula, mostly in Spain and with an adjoining portion in southern France.
