Poop deck
In naval architecture, a poop deck is a deck that forms the roof of a cabin built in the rear, or "aft", part of the superstructure of a ship.

Poop
Die Poop oder auch das Poopdeck bzw. Puppdeck ist das oberste achtere Schiffsdeck (Achterdeck) auf einem Schiff, insbesondere auf einem Segelschiff. Auch bei Windjammern aus Stahl war das Poopdeck mit Teakholz beplankt.

Dunette
Une dunette est une superstructure d'un bateau s'étendant sur toute la largeur et située à l'arrière. Dans la marine à voile, elle servait au logement des officiers et des éventuels passagers.

Poop
Poop är ett uppbyggt akterdäck, högre än midskepps. Under poopen är hytter för befäl och byssan belägna. Om fartyget inte har ett midskeppsbygge med hytter, byssa och dagrum för manskap och befäl kan poop innebära en överbyggnad eller ett så kallat akterbygge, som också är bostadsdel för besättningen. På ett litet fartyg kan med poop menas en enkel styrhytt akterut.

Ют
Ют (от ) — кормовая надстройка судна или кормовая часть верхней палубы. Ют, частично утопленный в корпус судна, называется полуютом. Старинное название шканцев и юта — ахтерзейль-кастель.
Ют как надстройка может быть удлинённым и коротким. В нём располагаются грузовые помещения, или каюты для экипажа и пассажиров, или служебные помещения, а также элементы кормовых швартовного и якорного устройств.
На парусных судах ют как часть палубы выделяли от кормы до бизань-мачты (кормовой мачты). Ют как надстройка в этой части палубы служил для укрытия рулевого устройства и рулевого от непогоды, а также для размещения кают капитана и его помощников.
