Poland , officially the Republic of Poland , is a country in Central Europe. Poland can also be considered part of Eastern, and Northern Europe. Poland is bordered by Germany to the west; the Czech Republic and Slovakia to the south; Ukraine and Belarus to the east; and the Baltic Sea, Lithuania and Kaliningrad Oblast, a Russian exclave, to the north. The total area of Poland is 312,679 km² (120,728 sq mi), making it the 69th largest country in the world and 5th in Europe. Poland's population is over 38.5 million people, concentrated mainly in urban areas.

La Pologne (Polska en polonais), ou la République de Pologne pour les usages officiels (Rzeczpospolita Polska), est un pays d'Europe centrale peuplé par plus de 38 millions d'habitants. Il est bordé par la mer Baltique, l'enclave russe de Kaliningrad et la Lituanie au nord, la Biélorussie et l'Ukraine à l'est, la Slovaquie et la République tchèque au sud, et l'Allemagne à l'ouest. Polen (deutsch Pollin) ist eine Gemeinde mit 267 Einwohnern in Tschechien. Sie liegt neun Kilometer nordwestlich von Klatovy und gehört zum Okres Klatovy. Die Katasterfläche beträgt 1767 ha.

Polen (amtlich polnisch Rzeczpospolita Polska) ist ein Staat in Mitteleuropa. Das Land grenzt im Norden an die russische Exklave Kaliningrad (210 km) und an  Litauen (103 km), im Osten an  Weißrussland (416 km) und die  Ukraine (529 km), im Süden an die  Slowakei (539 km) und  Tschechien (790 km) sowie im Westen an  Deutschland (467 km). Des Weiteren hat das Land eine 528 km lange  Ostseeküste. Insgesamt sind Polens Grenzen 3.582 km lang. Die längste Nord-Süd-Ausdehnung beträgt 790 km, die längste Ost-West-Ausdehnung 680 km.

Unbehandelte Pflanzenöle, umgangssprachlich abgekürzt auch als Pöl bezeichnet, können als Kraftstoff für Dieselmotoren in mobilen und stationären Anwendungen verwendet werden. Sie zählen zu den erneuerbaren Energieträgern. Aufgrund der gegenüber Dieselkraftstoffen höheren Viskosität und der niedrigeren Cetanzahl sind an gewöhnlichen Dieselmotoren in der Regel Anpassungsmaßnahmen notwendig. Diese besteht zum Beispiel in der Erhitzung des Kraftstoffes, um die Viskosität unmittelbar vor dem Eintritt in die Einspritzanlage zu verringern. Diese Technologie ist bereits von Vielstoffmotoren bekannt.
