Physician

The word physician applies to a person who practices some type of medicine. Such medical practitioners are concerned with maintaining or restoring human health through the study, diagnosis and treatment of disease and injury, through both an area of knowledge — a  science — of  body systems, their diseases and treatment, and the applied practice — an  art or craft — of that knowledge.

Un médecin est un professionnel de la santé titulaire d'un diplôme de docteur en médecine. Il est chargé de soigner les maladies, pathologies, et blessures de ses patients. Son métier est intimement lié avec d'autres professionnels de la santé comme le pharmacien ou le dentiste.

Il medico è il professionista che si occupa della salute umana, prevenendo, diagnosticando e curando le malattie.
