Phylloscopidae is a newly described family of small insectivorous birds formerly placed in the Old World warbler family. Its members occur in Eurasia, ranging into Wallacea and Africa (and the Arctic Warbler breeding east into Alaska). Most live in forest and scrub and frequently catch food on the wing.

Phylloscopidae es una familia recientemente descrita de pequeñas aves insectívoras antes ubicadas en la familia Sylviidae. Sus miembros se distribuyen por Europa, alcanzan hasta Wallacea y África ( y Phylloscopus borealis cría en Alaska). La mayoría vive en bosques y montes bajos, y frecuentemente capturan insectos al vuelo. Los Phylloscopus son llamados comúnmente mosquiteros.
