The Phoenix Islands are a group of eight atolls and two submerged coral reefs, lying in the central Pacific Ocean east of the Gilbert Islands and west of the Line Islands. They are a part of the Republic of Kiribati. During the late 1930s they became the site of the last attempted colonial expansion of the British Empire other than formal annexations preparatory to withdrawal, etc. (the Phoenix Islands Settlement Scheme). The islands and surrounding areas are home to some 120 species of coral and more than 500 species of fish. On January 28, 2008, the government of Kiribati formally declared the entire Phoenix group and surrounding waters a protected area, making its the world's largest marine protected area.

Die Gruppe der Phoenixinseln sind eine von drei Inselgruppen des Inselstaats Kiribati im zentralen Pazifischen Ozean. Die Inselgruppe liegt südlich des Äquators, nördlich von Samoa, östlich der Gilbert- und Elliceinseln sowie westlich der Line Islands. Sie bestehen aus acht (überwiegend) unbewohnten, weit verstreuten Atollen, die zusammen knapp 28 km² groß sind, sowie zwei separaten Korallenriffen, die ständig überflutet sind und keine Landflächen aufweisen. In der Fläche sind die großen Lagunen (die größte ist die Lagune von Kanton mit rund 50 km²) nicht enthalten, sondern nur jene Lagunen, die komplett vom Meer abgeschnitten sind und daher Binnengewässer darstellen. Die US-Territorien Bakerinsel und Howlandinsel sind der Inselgruppe im Norden vorgelagert.

Phoenixöarna (även Rawaki) är en ögrupp i Polynesien i västra Stilla havet som tillhör Kiribati.

Wyspy Feniks (ang. Phoenix Islands) - grupa 8 niezamieszkanych wysp lagunowych  na Oceanie Spokojnym, w Polinezji. Ich powierzchnia wynosi 28,4 km². Wcześniej na dwóch największych wyspach znajdowały się lotniska - cywilne i wojskowe - będące pod wspólnym zarządem Wielkiej Brytanii i USA. Obecnie wchodzą w skład państwa Kiribati, wcześniej - brytyjskich Wysp Gilberta i Lagunowych.
