Perejil

The Isla Perejil (English:"Parsley Island"; Amazigh: Tura, meaning: empty, (also named Leila) is a small, rocky islet located in the Strait of Gibraltar, 250 m off the coast of Morocco, 13.5 km from the Iberian Peninsula coast. In the Moroccan media the island was referred to as Leila (resembling the Spanish word la isla) ignoring the original Amazigh name Tura. Later, King of Morocco Mohammed VI corrected that mistake in one of his official speeches to the Moroccan people by naming the island only Tura.

L'îlot Persil (espagnol : , arabe : Leila, berbère : Tourah) est situé en Méditerranée à deux cents mètres de la côte marocaine et à six kilomètres à l'Ouest de l'enclave espagnole de Ceuta. Ce territoire réduit, accidenté, aride et inhabité est surtout connu pour être un territoire contesté. Sa souveraineté demeure en effet disputée par le Maroc et l'Espagne qui tous deux le revendiquent en s'appuyant sur des données géographiques et historiques.

Die („Petersilieninsel“; arabisch Leila: „Nacht“) ist eine kleine felsige Insel in der Straße von Gibraltar; sie liegt 200 Meter vor der  marokkanischen Küste und 8 Kilometer westlich der spanischen Exklave  Ceuta. Perejil ist wegen ihrer Lage von strategischer Bedeutung. Nach der Eroberung von Ceuta 1415 durch Portugal war Perejil zunächst portugiesisches Territorium. Seit der Personalunion mit Spanien (1580) und auch nach ihrer Auflösung, gehört Perejil mit Ceuta zu Spanien (Vertrag mit Portugal am 13. Februar 1668). Mehrfache militärische Forderungen in der Vergangenheit, Perejil zum Stützpunkt auszubauen, wurden aus Kostengründen immer wieder abgelehnt.

Perejil (hiszpański: Isla Perejil - dosłownie pietruszka, berberyjski: Tura, popularnie znana w Maroku jako Leila - dosłownie noc) - niezamieszkana mała skalista wyspa w Cieśninie Gibraltarskiej, 200 metrów od wybrzeża Maroka i 5 km od hiszpańskiej eksklawy Ceuta. Wyspa uważana jest przez Hiszpanię za obszar zależny, tzw. plaza de soberanía, choć pretensje do niej zgłasza też Maroko. Hiszpania dowodzi swoich praw do wyspy, opierając się na fakcie, że wzmianka o niej nie znalazła się w traktacie o niepodległości Maroka.

Perejil (nome spagnolo che significa "prezzemolo") o Leila (ليلة, nome arabo che significa "notte" [ma probabilmente è adattamento da un termine romanzo come l'i(s)la "l'isola"]) è un isolotto disabitato situato nello stretto di Gibilterra (tra l'Oceano Atlantico ed il Mar Mediterraneo), a 200 metri dalla costa marocchina e a circa 8 km ad ovest della città spagnola di Ceuta. Il nome locale dell'isola è Tura, parola né spagnola né araba, ma, verosimilmente, berbera.
